The Northstar Community Services District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Technician I. Essential duties and responsibilities include,
but are not limited to: Clerical accounting and bookkeeping tasks involving the processing, maintenance, and review of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Receipts; preparation and processing of routine bank deposits;
administrative and clerical functions supporting District operations; assisting with the answering, screening and directing of incoming calls; and providing
support for District initiatives, programs, and departments.
Qualified applicants must possess strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills. The ideal candidate will show initiative and the ability to excel in a small agency setting. Previous local
government experience and Springbrook software experience is a plus.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits including: Health Insurance; Dental Care; Vision Plan; Life Insurance; Vacation, Holiday, and Sick Leaves; CalPERS Pension/Retirement;
Education and Training Reimbursement; Health Reimbursement Account (HRA); Post-employment Health Plan (PEHP) with District matching; and a Deferred Compensation (457) Plan. The annual salary range for this position is $52,250 - $63,510 DOE.
