The Northstar Community Services District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounting Technician I. Essential duties and responsibilities include,
but are not limited to: Clerical accounting and bookkeeping tasks involving the processing, maintenance, and review of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Receipts; preparation and processing of routine bank deposits;
administrative and clerical functions supporting District operations; assisting with the answering, screening and directing of incoming calls; and providing
support for District initiatives, programs, and departments.
Qualified applicants must possess strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills. The ideal candidate will show initiative and the ability to excel in a small agency setting. Previous local
government experience and Springbrook software experience is a plus.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits including:

The annual salary range for this position is $52,250 - $63,510.

Application and Selection Process

fitness for successful performance in the position.
First round interviews will be scheduled for the week of February 14, 2018. At the conclusion of the oral interview candidates may be asked to complete a short quiz that will be used to help evaluate the
technical knowledge necessary for success in the position.
